Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of foundationrepairsat.com (the "Site") operated by Foundation Repair SAT ("we", "us") and any request for foundation repair services made through it. By using the Site you accept these terms.

1. What the Site does

The Site provides information about foundation repair in San Antonio, Texas and lets you request an evaluation. Requests are fulfilled by a foundation repair contractor (the "Contractor") servicing your area. The Contractor, not the Site, performs the evaluation and the work, issues the written proposal and invoice, engages any engineer, pulls permits and carries its own insurance. Texas does not license foundation repair contractors at the state level.

2. Information on the Site

Prices shown on the Site are typical 2026 ranges for San Antonio and are a guide only. They are not a proposal. Every job is proposed in writing after an evaluation. Guidance about cracks, soil, watering, drainage, methods and insurance is general information and is not a substitute for an evaluation of your property or for the opinion of a Texas licensed Professional Engineer. Do not dig under, jack, or cut into a foundation yourself.

3. Requests, evaluations and proposals

• Sending the form or calling is a request, not a booking. A booking exists when the Contractor confirms an evaluation window with you.
• Evaluation windows are estimates based on where the crew is working at the time. They are not guaranteed.
• The Contractor will evaluate the property and provide a written proposal before work begins. Work proceeds only on your written approval. If the plumbing test, the lift or conditions under the slab or in the crawl space change the scope, work stops and a revised proposal is provided.
• Where an evaluation, inspection or written report is charged for, the fee is stated before it is scheduled.

4. Engineers, permits, access and site conditions

Where the Contractor, your lender, your insurer or a buyer requires an engineer's evaluation or letter, it is provided by an independent Texas licensed Professional Engineer and its cost is stated in the proposal. Work that requires a permit under the City of San Antonio or the relevant municipality will be permitted by the Contractor, and the permit and inspection costs are included in the proposal where stated. You agree to provide safe access to the work area including the crawl space and interior floors where interior piers are required, disclose known hazards, plumbing history and previous repairs, and, where required, obtain HOA, historic district or landlord consent.

5. Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and progress payments, are stated on the written proposal. Payment is due on completion unless the proposal states otherwise. Accepted methods are listed on the invoice. Unpaid balances may accrue the interest and collection costs permitted under Texas law, and the Contractor may assert lien rights under Texas Property Code Chapter 53.

6. Warranty

Warranties on piers and other work, including their term and whether they transfer to a subsequent owner, are stated on the Contractor's written proposal. Nothing on the Site is a warranty. Warranties do not cover new movement in areas not piered, damage caused by plumbing leaks, drainage or landscaping changes after the work, other tradespeople, additions, or failure to follow written moisture-maintenance instructions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, neither we nor the Contractor is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the Site or the services, including loss of use, loss of income, cosmetic damage during lifting, or damage to contents, except where caused by our or the Contractor's negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act or other Texas consumer protection law.

8. Intellectual property

Content on the Site (text, graphics, logo, code) belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. You may print or share pages for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false requests, interfere with the Site, or use it to send unsolicited messages.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes about services are handled first with the Contractor directly; unresolved disputes may be brought before the courts of Bexar County, Texas.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date changes when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
